Born and raised just north of Seattle, I am a Pacific Northwesterner at heart. I attended the University of Puget Sound in Tacoma for my BA in Creative Writing, where I also nurtured special interests in Gothic literature and pretty much everything related to the Victorian era. I later earned both an MFA in Writing for Children and an MS in Library and Information Science from Simmons University in Boston. In addition to being a writer and a librarian, I am also a passionate teacher with experience delivering instruction in both academic and creative writing. My pronouns are she/her.
